Housing Support Programs
Northland Counseling Center’s Housing Support Programs assist Itasca County Residents who have a serious mental illness and are at risk of; or who are homeless to obtain and maintain safe affordable housing. In addition, we provide referrals for services including the Bridges Rental Assistance Program, Main Stream and Housing Choice Vouchers, Coordinated Entry, Heat Assistance and Landlord Relations. We do coordinate care with the Grace House (our local homeless shelter) and various housing organizations in the six county North East region. Northland Counseling Center’s Housing program is part of the NE Continuum of Care for HUD funded housing programs and the plan to end homelessness.
